Enrolment — How to Join the Hub
Purpose: Explains who can join, how the hub enrolls teams and individuals, and what the intake process looks like.
👥 Who Can Join?
Anyone from Zaria can join as an individual or as part of a team. Whether you’re a:
- 🧑💻 Developer
- 🎨 Designer
- 📝 Researcher or Scribe
- 💡 Problem solver with an idea
You’re welcome to participate!
📝 Steps to Enrol
1. Fill the Intake Form
Complete the Intake Form (Driver Form) with:
- Your name and contact information
- Your skills and interests
- Whether you’re joining as a team or looking for teammates
- Brief description of the problem you want to work on (if known)
2. Upload Initial Evidence
Provide preliminary evidence showing you’ve thought about the problem:
- 3 photos — showing the problem context or community
- 1 paragraph — describing the problem and why it matters

3. Hub Confirmation
Within 48 hours, the Hub team will:
- ✅ Confirm your registration via email/WhatsApp
- 📁 Create a team folder (if you registered as a team)
- 🟢 Help you find a team (if you’re looking for teammates)
4. Get Started
Once confirmed, you’ll receive:
- Access to the shared Drive
- Invitation to the community channels
- Links to templates and resources
⚠️ Important Deadlines
WARNING: Teams that fail to register by the enrolment deadline risk:
- Missing out on mentorship slots
- Not receiving submission acknowledgment
- Being excluded from the final presentation

Q: Can I join if I’m not technical?
A: Absolutely! We need researchers, storytellers, designers, and community connectors just as much as developers.
Q: What if I don’t have a team yet?
A: No problem! Register as an individual and we’ll list you in the Pods directory where teams are forming.
Q: Can I join multiple teams?
A: We recommend focusing on one team to ensure quality work, but discuss with the Hub team if you have a special circumstance.
Q: What if I miss the deadline?
A: Contact the Hub team immediately. We may be able to accommodate late registration depending on capacity.
